The single best thing you can do to help frontline workers struggling with a surge of COVID cases in Terrace and across the Skeena region is to follow the advice of healthcare leaders: wear a mask, limit social contact and wash your hands frequently.
But buying them some coffee and snacks from Tim Hortons wouldn’t hurt either.
“Tim Hortons National and Tim Hortons 1381 have been very proud to support our front line workers including our doctors, nurses, contact tracers, waste disposal workers, ambulance, fire dept, media and truckers with regular supply of donuts, coffee and various PPE throughout the pandemic last year. This year will be no different. As long as we’re all at risk, Tims will do what it can to help,” reads a Facebook post from the location in Terrace.
People who want to support frontline workers with caffeine and treats are being asked to reach out to the Terrace location’s manager, Janine Kraft.
“I will happily work within your budget and even ensure the delivery gets to the recipient without you having to worry about it. Or if you want to drop off personally, no problem! We’ll get it ready for you. You can even pay by credit over the phone. It can remain anonymous if you choose,” the post reads.
“Let’s raise some morale at our hospital,” it concludes. “Your donation helps our local front line workers at Mills Memorial.”
